Gerardo Misla Villalba was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1976, as part of an emerging entrepreneurial and proactive professional class; an educator, entrepreneur, contractor, developer, hotelier, and licensed professional engineer (# 18143). Endowed with a great diversity of knowledge and professional experiences, a diverse range of studies and expert opinions empower him to undertake, promote and develop large-scale innovative projects.
Graduated from renowned institutions, Gerardo Misla holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and a Master's Degree in Construction and Development Management from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami.
Gerardo Misla, belongs to the founding committee of the School of Architecture of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico (PUCPR) where he has served as a professor of courses related to Construction Management, businessman, real estate, viability and development for a decade.
He is also an active member of the College of Engineers and Surveyors of Puerto Rico and the Chamber of Commerce of the South of Puerto Rico and a member of the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico Fair Complex in Ponce, from where he collaborates to enhance events and activities of international caliber that have an impact on the improvement of the socio-economic development of the city and the region.
